The palace was made of stones so huge they were called Cyclopean Walls, in the belief that they were built by Cyclops because no man could have lifted them... This was the palace of King Agamemnon, brother-in-law to the beautiful Helen of Troy, and the man who launched the Trojan War... This was also where Hercules went for penance and was given his twelve labors to perform... |
